As I elabore in the next post the line between rogue and legitimate is very blurry. All you can do is to make sure that you choose products which are at the very end of the spectrum (which are definitely not rogue).

Count the advantages and disadvantages which comes with AV products. Are AV programs cost 30-50 Euro/USD? Much more if you count productivity loss and TCO. And which protection they offer? 99% in Virus Bulletin differs from 0-30% on Virustotal.
