Indeed, the Yahoo IMAP server has issues from time to time, but it works acceptably well (with the above settings) for me under both Windows and Linux.

Make sure that you use the last IMAP address (zimbra.imap.mail.yahoo.com)

Seems the settings get verified, but no mail shows up. Could this be a problem on Yahoo's end? Any thoughts?
