Here is a dump of thoughts I had about setting up a new iPhone:
- Disable Advertising ID
- For the Apple Account:
- Enable Advanced Data Protection (make sure you have a good password manager)
- Enable Two-Factor authentication
- Add a recovery contact
- Install / set up uBlock Origin Lite and Next DNS
- Enable WiFi calling
- Set up Google Calendar
- Look through medien-kindersicher.de and see what makes sense
